Fire Extinguishers

The provisions of the fire precautions (Workplace) Regulations [1] Regulation 6 require that "where it is necessary to provide extinguishing equipment to safeguard employees in the event of the fire, this equipment shall be maintained in an efficient state, in efficient working order and in good repair."

Safety check can provide Fire extinguisher testing to keep you compliant as a business. This is a process which involves a full inspection of the Extinguisher, checking all moving parts, gauges and a general visual inspection to check for corrosion. We will repair minor faults such as a bent pin whilst on site and this is free of charge. We can also organise to have your fire extinguishers refilled/recharged if necessary. We can also supply and install any new extinguishers you may require.
